The Bobrick B-8872 is a Designer Series counter-mounted automatic faucet with a one-piece heavy-duty cast brass spout in a Matte Black finish. A built-in IR sensor controls a solenoid in the electronics box, and water flows at 0.5 gallons per minute (GPM) when a hand is placed under the spout; an automatic shut-off stops the flow after 30 seconds if a hand or object stays in the sensor field. An inline filter at the electronics box helps keep debris from clogging the unit. A 4 “AA” battery pack comes standard; the optional 6V AC adapter needs parts 8878-72 and 8878-73. Operating water pressure is 10-125 PSI, and the temperature mixing valve, mixing tee and water supply hose are not included.
