The ASI 9018 is a horizontal recessed baby changing station with a 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel door facing and flange trim in a satin finish. The bed is shaped to cradle the child, and an adjustable two-part vinyl-coated safety strap with a Sure-Lock latch holds the child in place. A damped gas spring lets it open with one hand using less than 5 lbs of force. It supports a child weighing up to 50 lbs, and was tested during development to a 250 lb static load. A bag hook and a bed-liner dispenser that converts to a multi-fold towel dispenser are built in. It mounts in a framed rough wall opening with four #10 x 1-1⁄2″ screws through the side holes.
