The ASI 3701-42 is a 42″ horizontal grab bar made of Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. It is surface mounted; a snap flange cover conceals the mounting screws. ASI states the bar is built to support a load in excess of 250 pounds; the wall fasteners must be sized for the loads. For 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards, install unit so that the top of the grab bar is 33″ minimum Above Finished Floor (AFF) to 36″ maximum AFF. ASI lists a warranty of one year from the date of invoice.
