The Bobrick B-221216 is a floor-standing, foot-operated waste receptacle with a 12-gal capacity. The receptacle is 18-8, Type 304, 24-gauge stainless steel with all-welded seamless construction and a satin finish. A non-slip 16-gauge stainless steel foot pedal opens the self-closing Type 304, 20-gauge lid, which has a gasket for better closure and is joined to the can with a full width integral hinge. Liner clamps of 12-gauge stainless steel hold a disposable liner in place, and exposed edges are hemmed. The TDS lists it as flame retardant and includes an infectious and hazardous waste label meeting OSHA labeling requirements.
