The design of the Bobrick B-2840 Surface-Mounted Toilet Tissue Dispenser makes it a useful addition to many different commercial restroom settings. In public restrooms, the included shelf in the unit gives users a place to keep personable belongings up off the floor while using the facilities, and in private restrooms where theft is not an issue, additional rolls of toilet tissue can be stored on its surface. The shelf is made of type-304, heavy-duty 18-gauge stainless steel and features a 1/2-inch return on the edges to make it extra sturdy. The front edge is hemmed to create a smooth, safe surface. Beneath the shelf, the support brackets for the spindles are positioned and welded securely in place. Made of type-304, 18-gauge stainless steel, the brackets bear the two chrome-plated, durable, plastic spindles, each of which has a heavy-duty spring at its core. The entire unit has an attractive satin finish.
