The Bobrick B-5193 is a 25-1⁄2″ wide folding shower and dressing area seat. The one-piece 5⁄16″ thick solid phenolic seat has matte ivory melamine faces bonded to a black phenolic-resin core, with integral slots for water drainage, and is secured to the frame with stainless steel carriage bolts and acorn nuts. The type-304 satin stainless steel frame uses 16-gauge square and 18-gauge round tubing, with two 3″ diameter mounting flanges, and a guide bracket allows varying mounting heights while leaving the floor clear. The seat folds up against the wall when not in use, and a spring at the top of the baseplate holds it upright until the top of the seat is pulled away from the wall; the seat is not spring-loaded and does not return upright on its own. When properly installed it supports 500 lbs.
