The Bobrick B-58546.99 is a 40″ x 30″ 90-degree grab bar with a 1-1⁄4″ diameter and a peened finish, with the 40″ leg to the right and a 30″ vertical leg. It is made of 18-8, type-304, 18-gauge stainless steel tubing with ends heliarc welded to the flanges. Concealed 1⁄8″ stainless plate end flanges and an intermediate flange hold the bar, and 22-gauge stainless snap flange covers, 3-1⁄4″ in diameter and 5⁄8″ deep, conceal the screws. Bobrick states grab bars with 1-1⁄2″ clearance from the wall support loads in excess of 900 pounds if properly installed. Anchor devices and mounting screws are not included and are specified as accessories.
