The Bobrick B-6898.99 is a 30″ x 30″ 90-degree grab bar with a 1-1⁄2″ diameter. It is made of 18-8, type-304, 18-gauge stainless steel tubing with a satin-finish with peened grip, and the ends are heliarc welded to the flanges. Each leg measures 30″ from the flange center to the bar centerline. Concealed 1⁄8″ stainless plate flanges with two holes each are covered by 22-gauge stainless snap flange covers, 3-1⁄4″ in diameter and 1⁄2″ deep, that hide the mounting screws. Bobrick states grab bars with 1-1⁄2″ clearance from the wall support loads in excess of 900 pounds if properly installed. Anchor devices and mounting screws are not included and are specified as accessories.
