Description
Materials
The cabinet is constructed from heavy-gauge 18-8, type-304 stainless steel featuring an all-welded design. The door is fabricated from 18-gauge (1.2mm) 18-8, type-304 stainless steel with a matte black finish and features a 9/16″ (14mm) 90° return for maximum rigidity. It is secured to the cabinet with a concealed, full-length, stainless steel piano-hinge and is equipped with a stainless steel cable door-swing limiter alongside two flush tumbler locks. The skirt and paper towel dispenser are made of 22-gauge (0.8mm) 18-8, type-304 stainless steel, also specified in a matte black finish. The dispenser features a rounded towel tray with a hemmed opening and includes the TowelMate assembly, which consists of a 90° return towel guide angle, a field-replaceable round Nylon Rod, two stainless steel rod screws, and two stainless steel stop screws. The waste container is constructed of leakproof, rigid molded plastic.
Operation
The paper towel dispenser is adjustable to dispense C-fold, multifold, or singlefold paper towels without the use of additional adapters or towel trays. The integrated TowelMate features a 90° return towel guide angle inside the cabinet to prevent paper towels from falling forward when the door is opened for servicing, while the Nylon Rod across the center of the towel tray ensures towels are dispensed one at a time. To service the waste receptacle, unlock the door using the provided key and remove the leakproof waste container. The integrated stainless steel cable door-swing limiter prevents damage to washroom accessories and adjacent walls during operation and maintenance.
Installation
Provide a framed rough wall opening measuring 11-1/2″ (292mm) wide by 53-5/8″ (1362mm) high, with a minimum recessed depth of 3-3/4″ (95mm) required from the finish face of the wall. Allow clearance for any construction features that may protrude into the rough wall opening from the opposite wall. Mount the cabinet using shims between the framing and the cabinet at all designated installation points, and then secure the unit with #8 x 1-1/4″ (4.2 x 32mm) sheet-metal screws, which are not furnished. If the unit projects above the top of the wainscot, provide an aluminum channel or other filler to eliminate the gap between the flange and the finish face of the wall. For accessibility compliance, the maximum mounting height of the operable part—the top of the paper towel dispenser opening—is 48″ above the finished floor for ADA/ICC guidelines, and 40″ above the finished floor to meet California Building Code (CBC) standards.
