The Bobrick B-518 is a left hand folding shower seat with a padded cushion. The 2″ thick seat has 1-1⁄2″ closed-cell polyurethane foam on 1⁄2″ plywood, covered in white naugahyde, a water-resistant reinforced vinyl fabric. The frame is type-304 stainless steel with a satin finish, with two 3″ diameter mounting flanges at the top and a baseplate and guide bracket below. The seat folds up against the wall when not in use, and a spring at the top of the baseplate holds it upright until the top of the seat is pulled away from the wall; it does not return upright automatically after use. Mounting screws are furnished, and when properly installed the seat supports 360 lbs.
